About those New Year’s Resolutions! So, are you still following through with them or have some been tossed aside? With the Laws of attraction, you attract that which you focus upon. If the resolutions were important to you at the time you made them, are they still important now? If they are important and you have tossed them to the sidelines, you have reduced the speed at which they will manifest into your experience.
Setting New Year’s resolutions, is a form of deliberately creating, the second Universal Law. Most people abandon the resolutions, because they do not believe they deserve them or that they are not possible to achieve. These two sabotage mindsets can be overcome if you take the position that “you” do not have to know the “how” they will come nor do you need to know “where” they will come from. Trust in the Universe to bring it through you and to you. The Universe has much greater power than you or I have and can work much faster. It is said that once you define your desire, it already exists. It happens that quickly.
Ok, I get it. If it happens that quickly, then why doesn’t it show up right away? Many desires do show up right away. However, if you are not totally clear of the desire, then the Universe knows that and so do you. So the answer is, get clear on what it is you desire. Visualize the very being of what that desire is. If it is a new job, then see yourself actually performing that new job. Like a video, notice the workplace environment, notice you taking active part in communications with co-workers, feel the feeling of being there performing your skills and so on. You see, it is not you who creates the manifestation process, you create the desire. If you try to create the manifestation process, you will absolutely struggle the way through and in many cases, give up before the desire arrives.
Creating your New Year’s resolution is the same way you create all other desires. Know exactly what you want and believe it can be yours and it will be. Allow the Universe to bring it, you do deserve it, after all, you created it. Get out of your own way by pondering how you will find the money, or who will help me do this, or who is stopping me from having it. As long as you pay attention to these reasons why you cannot have it, you hold your desires at bay. As long as you keep noticing that it is not here, you are focusing on the lack. When this happens, tell yourself the story that it is on it’s way and will be here soon.
January is now passed and a new month ahead. Welcome February and a renewal of your New Year’s Resolutions!
Until next time….
