Breakthrough your toughest circumstance with a change of view on your outlook on that circumstance. Tony Robbins has been working diligently on a half dozen television shows over the last year in conjunction with the NBC network in the USA. Two of the six shows aired over the last couple weeks and reached six million viewers. That in itself is a breakthrough!
What about your dilema? Dr. Wayne Dyer says when you change how you look at things, the things you look at change. This is proven time and time again. When Tony was working with his clients for the show, he wasn’t working for the show. His efforts were to facilitate a change of thinking with the clients he was working with. His first challenge was to take the clients out of the current environment to give them a sense of getting out of the jam they were in. This opened the door for more changes in thinking. He took his clients to a new level of thought which expanded and expanded as they progressed through the 30 days he would be working with them.
Where can you go to get out of your environment even for a day or two? Leave all your crappy thoughts at home and just get away! If you are in a position where that seems impossible, take a walk to the park or the woods. When you go, just notice what is around you. The birds, flowers, trees, grass, people, the sky, buildings, signs, traffic and everything just for what it is. No judgment, make no comments unless positive, just take it in. Look for something funny. Look for something romantic. Look for children at play.
Go back to your childhood. Remember the fun stuff you used to do. Remember something you did that you weren’t supposed to do and got away with it or at least thought you did. How did that make you feel? Remember when you were on your first date. How did that make you feel? Remember the best birthday gift you ever received. How did you feel then? Remember the first time you gave a gift to someone else that made you feel like the best person on earth. Remember what that felt like. Remember your first joyous sex. How did that make you feel?
What did you want to be when you grew up? Have you had the opportunity to do that yet? What about now? Still want to do or be that? I don’t pretend to know what your situation is, however I do know this. You are not your events in life. You are not your circumstances. Your events and circumstances are a blessing. They are telling you that it is time to change your thinking and learn a lesson to move on.
Your universe has just mirrored back to you a culmination of thoughts and behaviours of your past. The past has passed. It is now time to deal with what you need to deal with and look for a better feeling. Ask yourself “What can I do now to fix this?” “How do I get out of this mess?” “What would make me happy right now?” “Where can I go from here?” As you start to ask these kind of questions, your subconscious mind will start searching for the answers and eliminate other thoughts that don’t match up to the questions in search. Keep asking empowering questions of the direction you want to go. The answers will come to you from within. Trust in the Universe and you will see that the light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter all the time.
