Our government has declared today as Family Day in Canada.  Its intention was to provide a holiday in the period of winter blues to provide an opportunity for the labour force to recharge their batteries with family, so to speak.  Certainly we all need to take a break and this is a great opportunity!  So, on that note, how have you planned your day with family?

Have you been so busy with your world that this day was overlooked?    Many people I suppose have not planned anything for today other than not go to work, and for self justified reasons.  Our society today is so stressed in so many areas that just not having to think for today is a wonderful time out.  Since this holiday is new, it may take some time for people to actually begin planning in advance.  Perhaps next year!

Planning requires thought and thought invokes creation-deliberate creation and while we don’t think of the Laws of Attraction as a function of the process, it actually is.  When you are in the planning stage, you go through kind of a menu system, like a menu at a restaurant.  Should we do this, or that, or maybe this would be good.  Those are the thoughts that begin bringing unto you that which you want.  Like attracts like.  And as you eliminate items off the list, you become more focused toward that which you do want.

Oh, but we can’t afford to do this or that!  Now is where clarity becomes the issue.  If you are doing the family plan thing where everyone participates in choosing what to do, as head planner, make sure the criteria is set down at the beginning of planning.  There are many things that can be enjoyed at little or no cost in most communities.  The important component here is “family” getting together and celebrating family.

Next year, start the planning in January and as a family unit, determine the guidelines, and have everyone input choices within those guidelines and then make an effort to allow them to manifest.

Until next time….
