Life’s a vicious circle or is it? If your life is a vicious circle, then there are elements in it that you are not happy about. When we are not deliberately creating our life, we fall into default mode and life brings us whatever, and much of that vicious circle stuff. Instead of focusing on “what is” at the moment, change your vocabulary to “I chose to do this”. Immediately you will say to yourself “I didn’t choose to do this!” To break the habit of living in a whirlwind of undesired events, we can begin by being more selective of the words we use to describe our events.
By stopping to think about the words you will use to describe any moment of your day, you will begin to challenge the choices you have made that put you in this spot in the first place. Once you start asking yourself why you are doing what you are doing, you are in a better position to transcend. I say a better postion, because you have at least stopped to think about it. If you continue to ask yourself why you are doing what you are doing, you will find all the reasons to justify it. However, and think about this, if you can then begin to ask yourself, a better question, “How can I get out of doing what I am doing?”, your brain will immediately begin a search toward solutions.
This search for solutions will immediately bring us joy if only to “just get out of” what we are doing. You can double the benefits by also asking yourself, “What would I rather be doing?”. When we ask better questions, we focus on moving toward alignment with that which will make us happy. The more often we do this, we become more deliberate in the creation of our life. Life is always evolving, we can’t stop that. We can make it more pleasant and get rid of the “vicious circle”. Being busy with things we like to do will become a whirlwind circle of happy events.
